PSYCHOPHONIA Teaser Released


DREAD CENTRAL ARTICLE: 

It’s been a few months since we’ve gotten an update on Psychophonia, a psycho-sexual thriller from Lony Ruhmann and Blanc/Biehn Productions; but that changes today because we have an exclusive early look at the film’s new trailer to share.

With a story from Ruhmann and screenplay by Barbara Stepansky, Psychophonia is directed by Brianne Davis (The Night Visitor 2: Heather’s Story).  It stars Vedette Lim (“Chicago Fire,” “True Blood”) in the lead role of Lilly Tarver.

Rounding out the cast are Andrew W. Walker, Kellee Stewart, Adam Rose, Daniel Quinn, Mark Gantt, Mitchell Fink, Lucie Pohl, Sean Hemeon, Nikita Black, Jenimay Walker, Phillip Greenbaum, Garrett Longley, and Alexander Biehn.

The film is executive produced by Michael Biehn, Jennifer Blanc-Biehn, Lony Ruhmann, and Richard Cardinal and produced by Mark Gantt, Brianne Davis, Danny Bellens, and Tony DeBenedetto. It’s edited by Alex Urbom, and the directors of photography are Vance Crofoot and Mark Gantt.

Synopsis:
After her husband, Jeremy, is brutally murdered, artist Lilly Tarver struggles with his secret sex life and coming to terms with who he really was. While diving into his dark and potentially dangerous world, a mysterious caller might hold the answers to his death.

ANCHOR BAY to distribute The Night Visitor 1 & 2

THE NIGHT VISITOR AND THE NIGHT VISITOR 2 RELEASE DETAILS ANNOUNCED

Blanc/Biehn Productions and Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada will be teaming up to release The Night Visitor (2013) and the upcoming The Night Visitor 2: Heather’s Story in the Canadian home video market as well as a digital release across North America. Head inside for the details!

LOS ANGELES, CA, May 15, 2015 – Jennifer Blanc-Biehn and MichaelBiehn’s indie production studio Blanc/Biehn Productions (BBP) has announced a deal with Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada for the distribution of The Night Visitor (2013) and the upcoming The Night Visitor 2: Heather’s Story within the Canadian home entertainment markets as well as the digital release across North America.The first installment of The Night Visitor will arrive this fall, and the second film will follow in winter 2016.

The Night Visitor films both focus on an unseen entity that watches and haunts its protagonists, and delve into the psychic pathos of the visitors’ victims. The two companies last worked together on Michael Biehn’s directorial debut The Victim, a grindhouse film that starred Jennifer Blanc-Biehn.Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada will be responsible for marketing and distributing both The Night Visitor films in domestic and international marketsfor the next five years, giving the movies a wider range of promotion and viewership potential.

Jennifer Blanc-Biehn directed the first film, and star Brianne Davis takes the reins for The Night Visitor 2, with Blanc-Biehn cast in a lead role. The Night Visitor was produced in association with Three Little Birds and Give And Take Productions, written by The Marcus Brothers and Mark Gant, with story concept by Executive ProducerLony Ruhmann , who says of the deal, “I wanted Anchor Bay Entertainment Canada to distribute The Night Visitor films and am so pleased this has come to fruition.”
