Sony's Crackle.com adding series, movies
Kevin James' 'Peacock,' 'Spider-Man 2' among new content By Mike Shields, Mediaweek
April 29, 2009, 05:36 PM ET Sony Pictures Entertainment's Web video site Crackle.com will launch a pair of original series later this year along with a slew of theatrical movies as the property continues its evolution toward becoming a destination for premium, young-male-targeted content.
Due this summer is the action-comedy series "Dusty Peacock," which features an inept stuntman looking to perform one memorable stunt. That show was created by "King of Queens" star Kevin James and stars his brother Gary Valentine. Slick and Sexy, 'The Bannen Way' Trailer Released

August 20, 2008 This one could be good, really good. Check out The Bannen Way. The trailer was just posted this week while the show creators Mark Gantt and Jesse Warren lock up a distribution partner for the show. Shot with the new RED camera, which emulates the look and feel of film at a fraction of the cost, the visuals are stunning. The sexy action series stars Gantt as Neal Bannen, a debaucherous thief looking to go straight after years on the wrong side of the law.

Look out The Bannen Way is Coming!

BIG Thanks to Tarynoneillon Twitter as @tarynoneill for pointing this one out to me!
Their trailer has been posted online for 5 months and as of this posting only has 500 views. But look out, it’s TV pilot season, they have an ICM agent and I’m betting that The Bannen Way is coming and one way or another it will be raising the bar for all Web Video Series.
Shot on the RED camera it has a high end feature film look that any movie studio would be happy to release and any TV network would be happy to have on their Fall schedule. I don’t know why it’s taking so long for The Bannen way to hit the Internet but my guess is that this web series is so good it may never make it online. It might just go straight to TV.
From the The Bannen Way website (which is one of the best looking web series websites I have ever seen.) “The Bannen Way is a slick, sexy, fast paced web series about a womanizing thief, Neal Bannen, who wants to start over but can’t manage to escape the criminal lifestyle.
